Miata NB hybrid; Flat Panel Conversion Door Cards / Panels

Sold as a matched pair; right and left. You will receive 2 door panels, some new stainless mounting hardware, instructions, and a sticker packaged in a poly bag.
The main photo of the tan door panel is what they look like after they are wrapped in foam & vinyl. This listing is for the black ABS door panel kit without foam or vinyl.
Most Mazda Miata door panels are warped and misshapen due to wet weather attacking the flimsy cardboard that the factory supplied.
These panels come as a matched left and right pair and are cut from sturdy, weatherproof ABS plastic on my laser cutter. The panels feature a textured side and a smooth side that has options half-cut into the back. These option markings don't go all the way through, so if you do not need them, you will not have unwanted holes in your panel. You can use a flat-head screwdriver and a mallet to pop the sections out.

These panels are slightly different than the other Forever Panels in that they are totally custom and NOT OEM STYLE. They convert your sculpted NB1 or NB2 panels to a flat NA style. This kit does require some creativity and some confidence in your modification abilities. These have been designed to bolt on factory NA upper panels, or use cut NB1 or NB2 panels to make the upper portion. The factory clips can be used on the bottom and front; conversion mounting hardware for the trailing edge are included with the kit. I have left the mounting holes as an option cut into the back if you choose to use some alternative mounting like velcro.
The speaker hole that is there is the 8" Bose-style. Any aftermarket 8" grille (not included) will cover these fine. This hole will also work with other sized speakers- the speakers mount to the door, the 8" grille will mount to the panel.
ABS plastic is extremely durable and weather-proof! The textured surface will usually be covered with whatever fabric or vinyl you choose, but the textured surface does look attractive on it's own - maybe for a lightweight, race-inspired look. The main photo in the listing shows the panel as it would be installed with a Porsche RS-style door pull, 1/8" closed cell foam, and tan squareweave fabric available in my store. These are not included.
